"Serial number 4380. Made in 1910-1920. 455 Webley caliber with a 6" barrel. This gun is excellent as refinished. Grips are very fine. This gun is all matching. This gun has a unique design that cocks the hammer after each shot. This mechanism allows for faster firing while maintaining the low trigger pull of a single action revolver. The Fosbery design was reported to have been as fast if not faster than its magazine fed semi-automatic counterparts and as fast to load if a speed loader was used. It was used during WWI and also was popular among target shooters.
