Serial number 1270XXX. NRA sporter project. Rough NRA sporter blank, requires extensive sanding. Wood stands proud on correct buttplate. Drilled for bedding lugs, not in place. Correct front band. 10/25 dated Springfield star gauge barrel. Barrel shows heavy wear at throat. Receiver has had holes on left side from scope mount filled. Correct era Lyman 48 sight. Windage knob has been modified. Correct style triggerguard. Reblued floorplate. Bolt marked with "3", probably incorrect era. Sold AS-IS, project gun, no function guarantees. Will ship to C&R.
