This stainless steel Smith & Wesson was brought onto the market in the 1980s as a law enforcement firearm, but it quickly became a popular choice for the private citizen who wanted a concealable .357 Magnum revolver. The Model 65 we acquired for this test came with a 3-inch heavy barrel, which was the shortest available. Other features of this double action revolver included a fluted six-shot cylinder, fixed sights and an Uncle Mike's Combat grip. This firearm is being offered by the Boise Cabela's Gun Library.
