This fine vintage Dec 1977....(we also have its twin made in Jan 1978 to be listed here shortly)
is in near new condtion. The handsome American Walnut stock is almost completely free of handling or use or safe marks; the barreled action has been blacked perhaps to cut down glare..possibly cerkote or some other treatment that has been done flawlessley. These VS (refers to Varmint model with Walnut No lam. stock) models are slighly modified variants of the USMC Viet Era Sniper Rifles and are known to have incredible out of the box accuracy. Chambered in potent but inexpensive and commonly found 22-250 Rem...only a little slower than a 220 swift w/o the short barrel life. This one has been hardly used as evidenced by the overall conditon and the unmarked full engine turning on the bolt shaft. Scope and rings shown is NOT included but may be purchase for $ 225.00 ..is a Vintage US Made Redfield 4x12 with a target dot for pinpoint shooting. Makes an ideal long range varmint gun and in the hands of a capable shooter ok for deer or antelope where legal. This is NOT the express model but a true BDL VS
