Description: Beautiful and scarce High Standard Model H-E Target Pistol, cal. 22 LR, with 6 3/4" heavy barrel having patridge front sight and adjustable square notch rear sight. Exposed hammer w/ trigger stop & slide lock. 2 piece checkered walnut thumbrest Roper type grips. Seldom offered for sale as only approximately 1000 manufactured 1941-1942 during WWII. Condition: Crisp 99% professionally restored finish, so good that unless you have the pistol in your hands, the images would suggest factory original. Grips with crisp checkering. Unmarked dual tone HS magazine with unmarked base. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.
