Description:
This drilling is in good condition. Starting at the muzzle end you have your three barrels with some very minor pitting that does not seem to even go through the bluing. You also have your post front sight with a brass or copper insert to help it stand out. Moving down the barrels the bluing is in great shape with a couple of very small spots of surface rust on the right barrel past the sling mount. There is also a hairline scratch near the sling mount on the left barrel and another scratch just past the handguard on the same side. The rear flip up sight is easy to use without having to also worry about it falling back down when aiming down sights. The hand guard is in decent shape with some minor dings and scratches from use over the years. The receiver is beautifully color casehardened with some nice subtle border and scroll work engraved into the receiver. The tang also features a flip up peep sight that folds down beneath the barrel selector to help the shooter perform more precise shots at longer ranges. The stock does show signs of use mainly on the left side. The steel buttpad also features a trapdoor with three compartments for storage of cleaning gear. The sling that comes with it is also made of braided leather that fits the look of the rifle very nicely. 16 Gauge
