Benelli combines elegance and utility with the Cordoba Custom Performance Shop Sport. This Lightly Used customized gun features Benelli’s Advanced Impact barrel and seven chokes including five Benelli extended Cryo chokes, and TWO Briley performance chokes which enhance energy and velocity as well as improving penetration and shot density. The 30” barrel is also treated with Benelli’s Cryo system which helps relieve the stress caused by the hammer forging process, creates a smoother, more uniform surface, and enables the barrel to stay cleaner for longer. To promote optimal ergonomics and handling, this Performance Shop Sport features enlarged controls and TWO custom 6-ounce weighted forend caps for balance.
The heart of this gun is Benelli's renowned Inertia Driven System. This extremely reliable action is composed of just 3 main parts – the bolt body, inertia spring, and rotating bolt head – and harnesses the inertia of recoil to cycle the next round. This simple, yet robust system eliminates the need to adjust, and is able to handle the lightest field loads to heavy magnum shells. The Inertia Driven System prevents residue from entering the action and ensures the gas, smoke, and burnt powder remain in the barrel. This makes the Inertia Driven System run significantly cleaner than gas systems.
