For sale is a Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Super Grade chambered in .30-06 Springfield, manufactured between 1948 and 1949. This highly sought-after rifle is a prime example of Winchester’s golden age of craftsmanship. It features beautiful walnut stock with checkering, cheekpiece, and the signature Super Grade touches like the black nosecap and grip cap.
Condition is amazing for its age, with only two minor blemishes. One on the stock nose cap, and one on the top of the barrel which do not detract from its overall presentation. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, and the mechanics function perfectly. The rifle is an excellent candidate for collectors or those seeking a reliable and elegant hunting firearm.
