Description:
For sale is a used, all original in excellent condition, 1st Gen Colt Python with a 6 inch barrel and Colt’s beautiful Royal Blue finish. Serial number V9485X indicates it was manufactured in 1980. The serial numbers on the frame and crane match. The bore is excellent. Tight action and good timing.
I bought this gun in 2012 and while it’s been a safe queen and hasn’t been fired since I’ve owned it, as expected with any lightly used but well cared for Python, it has light turn lines on the cylinder, powder marks on the front of the cylinder chambers indicating it has been fired, and possibly a few scuff marks on the finish and/or wooden grips. I’ve photographed it as best I can, but the highly polished Royal Blue finish is a challenge.
Included with the sale is a not original to this gun, excellent condition Colt Python box (no label) with a manual, hang tags, and a cylinder protector as pictured.
