Description:
Winchester model 42 made 1952. The barrel is 26” long and choked mod. It is chambered in .410 3”, the bore is very good bright and shiny. I removed the butt plate to make confirm the wood was in fact Winchester and found the note you see in one of the photos, the not is still in one of the holes under the butt plate. I wiped the gun down with and oily clothe because it was so dust covered. There is some sharp edge blue wear and some shininess where the action slides on the mag tube and barrel. Between the end of the magazine tube and the muzzle on the right side there is a small spot where rust was, like where it was resting in a rack. It is pictured. On the cartridge lifter there is also some easy to clean minor rust. This is a nice as found treasure. I am an FFL dealer and accept credit cards with no additional charge.
