This is a pretty special and rare 686-4 7 shot 6" barrel conversion revolver. S&W never actually made a 7 shot 686 with a square butt. This is a 1995 and the 7 shot revovlers did not come out until 1996. When they did, they were all round butt. This is the perfect blend of the larger square butt frame with the 7 shot cylinder. mechanics are fantastic with perfect timing each hole, no cylinder end shake and a snug lockup! Action is butter smooth. Frame and finish are in excellent condition showing very little signs of use. You may find one or two tiny handling marks but that's about it. Comes with a set of factory target grips with just a couple of small signs of use.
