This is a Leupold VX-II 4-12 x 50mm rifle scope. It is a variable 4 to 12 power scope with a 50mm objective lens. It has a beautiful Gloss Black finish. The main tube is one inch diameter and the scope is 12 inches long. It has a duplex reticle. This scope has a serial number with the letter "M" suffix which means this scope was made in 2004. Leupold no longer makes Gloss Black rifle scopes. If you want a Gloss Black Leupold scope you must buy it on the used scope market. This scope is covered by Leupold's life time guarantee which I have copied from Leupold'ssite and included here:

This scope is in excellent condition. It has 100% of its original finish. The view through the scope is clear and bright. The duplex reticle is clean and straight. There are no ring marks, scratches, or damage of any kind. I can see no evidence that this scope has ever been mounted on a rifle. This is a beautiful looking, fully functional, high-quality scope ready to install and give a lifetime of service on your rifle. The photos show the condition well.
