Description:
Winchester Model 61 Magnum in 100% overall condition in a high-grade conversion. Silver inlaid squirrel and rabbit surrounded by floral engraving on each side of receiver which is believed to have been done by Angelo Bee. The quality of the inlay and engraving is superb. The stock is 3X walnut and is carved and checkered with an oak leaf pattern, the likes of which is difficult if not impossible to find today. The only work I’ve seen of comparable workmanship was done by John Durkin while working for Winchester. Serial #333451. Price is, excluding shipping, $5,000.
