"SN: S970407. Late 1940's vintage .38 Special with a 2"" barrel. Bore is excellent. Scarce 5-screw pre-model 10 with 2"" barrel and round front sight. Has about 95% original blue finish with light wear. The grips are elk stag and look great. A desirable early post-war S&W revolver.
