Here is a rare Colts Patent Pocket Powder Flask for the 1862 Colt Pocket Navy or the Colt Pocket Police. It has the large spout for the 36 caliber charge used by the larger 1862 Pocket Models that shot a 36 caliber bullet rather than the earlier 49 Pocket Models which shot a 31 caliber bullet. This flask retains approximately 75% of the original dark lacquer. The seams are perfect! The charger, the spout and the spring work exactly as they should. It has a few minor handling marks. This flask is ready for a high-finish cased gun. It would be super hard to improve on this flask. Most all of the Pocket Navy and Pocket Police powder flasks retain none of the original finish. Super rare find!
