Vintage Firearms Inc. is pleased to offer this Boston Police Department Colt Police Positive, sn176202. Manufactured in 1927, this revolver was once a standard issue Boston PD revolver. The barrel and cylinder show legitimate holster wear from its time being carried as a service pistol – appropriate and righteous wear adding to its historic character. The 4” barrel has an excellent bore and retains 70% of its factory finish. The frame has 90% of its factory finish. There is a little play in the cylinder, but this reliable Colt retains a tight lockup in both single action and double action. This revolver is a fine addition to any Colt collection and especially on that focuses on police revolvers. Thanks for looking!
