Boxlocks - The Welbey & Scott 700 utilizing the classic Anson & Deeley boxlock action was made for 33 years. It was made for so long because it is having always been a winner when it came to quality, reliability, balance, and at a very good price.
This example is in nice condition. It was made in 1951 and is still as tight and strong as the day it was built. This grade, the 701, features some engraving. The Model 700 virtually had none.
