For your consideration, the Remington 700 P bolt-action rifle chambered in .223 Remington. The 700 P (Police) was primarily chambered in .308 as a police tactical rifle. The P model had a longer 26" heavy barrel, than the LTR (Lightweight Tactical Rifle) which had a 20" barrel. .223 Remington
