SOLD Listing a antique Winchester round barrel rifle of mine in the always popular 38/55 caliber. Has the 26" round ( 1 in 9 ) rifle barrel with I'd say about a 7 as far as bore goes. Shoots and cycles fine. I bought this from a older than I neighbor a few yrs back and have decided to part ways with some of my collection. Has some long ago stock repair as you can see. Near the butt plate and top rear tang . Myself I believe it's all part of her story. I guess if you collect the plastic ones your concern would be melting , anyway she is what she is , not a crazy price for a antique with a unusual serial number.143431, These model 1894's were maybe the most popular rifle ever produced.
