THIS EXQUISITELY ENGRAVED AND WELL DOCUMENTED ANTIQUE COLT SAA 45.(1907) You must see and hold it to really appreciate it. Engraved and signed by Texas Engraver Hank Pope. Former chief of Reno Texas and Tarrent County Texas. He died in 2020 in Fort Worth Texas at the age of 70. He was also a homicide detective for the Arlington Police department. His two loves were gun engraving and playing his Martin guitar. He was the epitome of Justice. This weapon is all original, engraved in 2005 and signed on the back strap. (Eng. Hank pope, (FTW). Tx. 2005, Hand carved Ruby eyed Texas Longhorn on Mother of Pearl grips. This gun is flawless. This gun left the Colt factory in 1907 as a blued revolver. Hank engraved it and had it masterfully Nickle plated to perfection. It is also tuned to perfection. Unfired, The Weapon functions perfectly as it came from the factory. "Factory letter" included.
