Description:
This barreled action has the bolt and works fine. The bolt does not have the extractor. Besides that.it needs the full miitary stock and some bands to complete. I might consider buying a miltary stock for this action. What I need is a bolt for this model in .22 rimfire ,as I have a converted trainer rifle.

This rifle does not have the usual 1874 / 80 markings. But is marked Manufacture D Armes Chatellerault and Henry Entrepeneur. Henry being a contractor manufacturer of this model rifle for the French Army. There are 2 sets of low 4 didget serial number, along with numerous proof marks and such.

It has a 32" barrel with bayonet lug.The bore is rough along with rifling and is useable with black powder if one knows what they are doing. The rifle has lots of original bluing, along with brown patinia, and pitting here and there.I have no orginal cartridge to check if it is 11 x 59R, but I see no evidence if it was resleeed for the WW I cartridge. It looks original caliber to me.
