J.C Higgins was made for Sears Roobuck by the High Standard Arms Company of Hartford Conn. from 1932 - 1945. These were high quality firearms, reflected by the name. This one has been sitting in safe for years and is in new condition, although the box has not faired as well over the years. Manual is included as well as the leather holster shown.
