Description: ********* SALE PENDING JIM Y. ********* Selling on consignment for a long-time customer who is open to reasonable offers. This Colt SAA is all matching, serial number 151354, made 1893, caliber 45 Colt, 4 3/4" barrel, hard rubber checkered grips with only the Rampant Colt, no Eagles, correct for this period of issue, half moon ejector head, blued and case hardened finish, assembly number 761 on loading gate. Basically an even patina finish with some deep original blue in the protected areas of the frame, by the trigger guard and on the ejector housing, with hints of smoky case colors on the frame. Correct two-line patents and Rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. Correct two-line address on top of barrel reads "COLTS F.A. MFG. Co. HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A" with dashes before and after. Strong action with all four very positive clicks, locks up tight as a drum and indexes perfectly, no front-to-rear cylinder drift. Left side of barrel marked "45 COLT" and there is an "O" or "0" in the upper frame groove visible when the hammer is cocked. Screw heads are excellent with no wear or damage. Bore retains sharp rifling with some very light black powder fouling that may clean out, no deep pits, no rings, no bulges, no craters, should spin a bullet just fine. Note the Colt Archives were contacted but no record for this serial number remains. Overall grades NRA Antique Very Good and will make a nice addition to your Colt collection. No international sales.
