Here is a rare J.C. Higgins model 88. This is the very rare model Made by Hi-Standard and sold under the JC Higgins brand for Sears & Roebuck. Like Sentinel R-100 or R-101. This revolver holds 9 rounds of .22lr or any combination of .22s/l/lr featuring 4” barrel with ramp sight, comfortable round textured grips, bright polished nickel finish, colored hardened serrated hammer and trigger, and swing out cylinder. The action is smooth in both DA and SA operation, and the rifling is shiny and sharp. Good condition for its age.
