Serial #1K28584, .38 Special, 6 inch pinned matte groove ribbed barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Model 14-2, K-38 Masterpiece revolver manufactured by Smith & Wesson built in 1971. In excellent condition the barrel frame and cylinder retain about 96-98% of the original bright polish blue with some scattered use marks. The target hammer and trigger show vibrant case-hardened colors. The S&W Magna grips rate excellent and fit very well with non-matching numbers. It is sighted with an adjustable rear and blade front target sights. It comes in the original blue two piece Bangor Punta box numbered to the gun with manual.
