This is an all original Revolutionary War, French Charleville, Flintlock musket. It is a model 1763. This is a beautiful condition rifle with a small period repair to the front stock. This rifle is not US surcharged, so it probably was used by private militia. This gun was purchased from the late Norm Flayderman when he lived in Connecticut over thirty years ago. He said this flintlock was one of the nicest flintlocks he ever owned. The rifle is 60" overall with barrel length of 45" and is 69 caliber smooth bore. It has all original hardware and ramrod.
