Description:
The 1898 was the interim battle rifle, designed and issued between the "Trap door" Springfield and the 1903. There are unique features to the Krag. They are magazine rifles that load through a rotary magazine that takes loose ammo, and the action is still considered the smoothest of all bolt actions. The bore is clean but is a bit rough. .30-40 Krag
