With its signature humpback receiver design, the Browning’s Auto-5 is instantly recognizable and with more than 2.7 million made, it is a common sight both in the wild and the more manicured lawns of Skeet and Trap lines! These guns were made to be used, and millions of hunters and sportsmen did just that, slinging billions of rounds of ammo at all kinds of targets and they’re still going strong! Manufactured in Belgium in 1969 this A5 Magnum is serial number 69X26784. This example has a 27 ½” vent-rib barrel with 98% factory blue, 3” magnum chambers, and a mirror bore and is choked Mod. The receiver has 97% factory bluing and crisp clear engraving, there is light silvering around the natural carry point of the gun. The furniture is European Walnut with light grain and hand cut checkering, and features a 15 1/8” length of pull, wood to metal fit is excellent. This A5 has been tested by our gunsmiths to determine if the wood was salt treated- this Browning humpback is SALT FREE so buy with confidence. Thanks for looking!
