Description:
I am no expert when it comes to Japanese swords. I don't have any idea as to its age or era. The blade is polished to a mirrored finnish. The edhe is quit sharp. Upon close inspection there are many small scratches and a few minor nicks. Some of the pictures show bits of the carpet the sword is laying on, those are not big chunks out of the edge. The tang is inscribed with Japanese charactors, as is the guard. Grip wrapping is tight. Guard is a little loose. Scabbard has a wooden core, coated in black laquor with brass throat & tip. Comes with nylon sword bag.
