WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SADDLE RING, ANTIQUE
  • SERIAL NUMBER: 166994
  • BARREL: 20-inch round
  •  .44-40 WCF cartridge.
  • MANUFACTURED: 1898 
  • Blade front and carbine style ladder express rear barrel sights.
  • Plain walnut forearm and buttstock.
  • Blue steel carbine style buttplate.
  • Saddle ring mounted to left side of frame.
  • Finished blue with case hardened loading lever and hammer.
CONDITION:
  • Excellent with 90-95% original blue on barrel,
  • Frame showing approximately 50+% original blue,
  • blending with blue/brown patina. Traces of case color on lever.
  • Bore is fine with modest abrasion.
  • Action is tight and crisp.
  • Wood is excellent showing little wear with small area of missing wood at left side wrist.
