Description:
28 inch Part octagon barrel shows about 70% original finish with some thinning starting to turn brown. Bright very good bore with decent rifling showing light roughness. Original sights include a Windgauge Globe front with spirit level with no dovetail at the rear of the barrel and a Midrange Vernier tang sight. Receiver shows about 80% case hardening colors that are quite vivid in protected areas. Smooth walnut forearm with nickeled Schnabel and a checkered walnut pistol grip buttstock with a Nickeled Swiss style buttplate. Barrel, frame, butt-plate, forearm and buttstock are all numbered to match. A very nice example!
