Single Shot Octagonal Barrel Tang Peep Sight
Here we present an antique E. Remington & Sons Rolling Block Sporting Rifle, manufactured circa 1880 in Ilion, New York. This specimen features a 26 inch octagonal barrel chambered in .32 Rimfire. This one has both a barrel mounted rear sight as well as a tang-mounted peep sight that says “Made in Italy”.
The overall condition is good. Strong action. The bore is dark with worn rifling and a rough patch in the middle. Solid stock.
