Description:
Springifeld Model 1873 Trapdoor carbine in 45-70. This carbine variant of the trapdoor has a 22" barrel with a good bore. Similar to examples used by the 7th Cavalry under Custer. The "1873" stamped on the breechblock is very heavy and thus looks like it says "1878", but no such gun exists.

Shipping, handling and insurance varies on each firearm from $35.00 to $100 depending size, weight and zip code. To be determined after sale.

NOTE: New Jersey does not have a pre-1898 law. ALL guns, including antiques, must be shipped to your out of state FFL or C&R licenses are ok!
