Description:
Carl Gustafs M96 in 6.5x55mm Swede. The Mauser 96 based rifles are slimmer, cock-on-close precursor to the famous Mauser 98. Although not quite as stout of an action as the M98, it was strong enough for the Swedish military cartridge of the day, the 6.5×55 Swede. It has a 24" round barrel. Overall, very good plus condition with matching serial numbers, bore is good with light frosting. Stock is in excellent condition, action smooth and functions correctly. The 6.5x55mm Swede cartridge is a fast, flat-shooting, and accurate round with superb penetration. 6.5x55 Swedish
