Description:
Weatherby Mark V Deluxe Bolt Action Rifle chambered in .378 Weatherby Magnum. Features a 26-inch gloss black barrel, with 3 Round magazine, finely checkered pistol grip and rosewood tipped Monte Carlo stock, and an adjustable trigger. The rifle is based on a 9-lug, push-feed action that has long been considered the strongest action in the world. The bolt has a very short rotation of 54° allowing for quicker reloads and the ability to mount scopes as close to the bore as possible. The forged, one-piece bolt is fluted and has relief ports and a full shroud to protect the user in the case of an ammunition failure. A smooth and silent two-position safety also serves as a bolt lock when in the 'SAFE' position. The .378 Weatherby Magnum was designed by Roy Weatherby in 1953. The cartridge features a high powder capacity relative to its bore size. This safari-grade cartridge is appropriate for taking all African game animals .378 Weatherby Magnum
