Description:
Boxlocks - This a true Scottish gun which was located in Ayr and then later had a shop in Kilmarnock. It was built about 1900. The scalloped frame with the reinforced frame I find very attractive. The screw above the top scallop on both sides indicates it is the highest grade boxlock which feature over hanging sears. A high-end feature.

* The gun is on face and from the breech has very bright and shiny bores. *** Note: To see this gun with high resolution photos and a zoom-in feature, go to the vintagedoubles main site and search for the gun ID: 5595 or browse the main site to see our full gun collection.
