Description:
Proved in June 1993 and built with 28" steel brls that have matted concave top rib with small brass front bead. Breech ends with ring of engraving. Polished flats with proof stamps. Splinter forend checkered in point pattern with geometric engraved latch release and iron. Coin finished sidelock receiver is beautifully engraved with flushing pheasant in game scene of left, 3 ducks in marsh scene on right, surrounded by relief scroll. Engraver's initials "DW" at bottom of left lock. Top of frame is stipple engraved as is the blued top lever. Trigger plate with relief scroll and maker's crest. Blued long tang trigger guard with burst of scroll on bow, geometric design on tang. Gun made with double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Nicely figured straight grip walnut buttstock is checkered in 3 point pattern through the wrist and terminates with its original maker's lined HRBP. Accompanied by an original maker's box with owner's manual enclosed.
Overall the gun remains in extremely fine all original condition showing limited use and retains nearly all original finishes throughout. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. Box is very good with some soiling and corners rounding. Last retail price for this model is over $12,000!
