Description:
Serial #905883, .38 Special, 2 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Colt Detective Special revolver manufactured in 1966. In excellent condition the barrel, frame and cylinder retain about 90-93% of the original blue with some loss on the barrel and high edges of the cylinder with freckling on the grip frame and the rear grip turned a plum brown. The original grips are hand numbered to the gun, solid with very good checkering that is slightly flattened on the points. Mechanically it functions properly, times well with a tight lock up. A great Detective Special ready to carry. FFL or C&R
