Description:
Winchester Model 61 .22 S,L,LR #338xxx mfdg 1955. This rifle retains fully 95% of the original factory blue. There is a patch of freckling forward of the bolt on the right side of the receiver and some extremely light scattered freckles on the receiver top. There is edge wear at the carry point and some light operational wear at the pump handle. There is a light scuff on the right side of the barrel above the magazine tube retainer. But all of these taken together detract only moderately from the appearance of this quite presentable 61. The wood retains 97% of the original finish with one large scratch on the right side of the buttstock near the buttplate (see picture). The buttplate is in excellent condition. Bore and mechanics are excellent. $40 shipping.
