Description:
Winchester Model U.S. Rifle M1 Garand is a right-hand semi-auto U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Springfield. It has a 24-inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth hardwood pistol grip. The forearm is smooth two-piece hardwood. Receiver manufactured in May 1942. Battle range/lockbar rear sights, with all Winchester marked components, restamped boxed "W.R.A./W.B." and crossed cannons cartouche on left stock wrist. Import marked underside breech of the undated Winchester barrel. Very good as refinished and converted back to World War II configuration, with scattered pitting visible underneath the finish. Stock is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with scattered light scratches and dents, and defined restamped cartouches. Mechanically excellent. No Box. .30-06 Springfield
