Description:
This is a very nice and well persevered antique muzzle loading trap gun. This appears to be a blacksmith made unit not factory and no makers marks found, with slight imperfection and peened rivets. It has a 5 1/4" octagon barre with a modified touch hole about 60 Caliber with a loop on the barrel to house the trigger trip rod. Other component consist of a functional spring on a long hammer, post held safety and rod activated slip trigger. There is a 7" wrought iron ground spike and total length from muzzle to back of 10 3/4". No gun collection is complete without a nice trap gun.
