Extremely scarce Model 70 in 300 H&H caliber with a stainless steel barrel! Very few of these were ever made.
S/N 340294 with matching scribed bolt made in 1955.
The overall condition of this rifle is outstanding both inside and out, showing 98% original finishes over most, with a bit more wear to the floorplate and buttplate.
The barrel channel is perfect and there are no internal cracks or other issues.
Superb bore and mechanics.
The 26" standard weight barrel is made of stainless steel and features the familiar factory iron oxide coating/dull blued finish often seen on 220 Swift and 264 Win Mag calibers, but again, VERY few were ever produced in 300 H&H or any other calibers.
Aside from being one of the greatest and most requested calibers of all Model 70s in it's own right, there are but a relative handful of collectors out there who can claim to have one of these, so don't let it get away!
