Description:
Serial #592073, .38 Special, 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, yoke, and extractor, with the metal retaining 97-98% of the original blue with some mild silvering at the muzzle and on some of the high edges and projections, most noticeably on the leading edge of the trigger guard on the left side, and a faint turn-ring on the cylinder. Most of the original color case-hardening remains on the hammer and trigger, with some fading along the edges. The checkered, diamond-center walnut grips are original and numbered to the gun on the interior. They are in fine-excellent condition with only some mild flattening to the points on either panel. The lock-up is tight, and the action functions flawlessly. This is a splendid pre-war M&P revolver, and is in fine-excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R;
