Description:
Springfield US Model 1871 Army Rolling Block Carbine conversion 50-70 cal Bore Exc mint, Mech Exc has the auto eject extra click. Wood VG with cartouche ,fits well, has an old coat of varnish and some nicks and dings to the stock. Has a 21” Rd barrel with replacement sights. The receiver has the Model 1871 marking on the left side and US Springfield 1871 with eagle marked on the right side. The top tang has the Remington Patent markings. Has the original buttplate, sling swivel and barrel band. Metal overall has a brown patina finish with some very fine pitting on the barrel.
