Description:
This is a pre-owned set of 1922 Holland & Holland Royal sidelock in 12 gauge. Both weigh in at 6 lbs. 2 oz. and are in excellent condition with appealing patina from years of well-serviced use. The concave ribbed barrels of 27 3/4 inches are chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells, with fixed chokes of CYL/IC. Top levers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, best 'Royal' scroll engraving, brushed bright and renewed finish overall. These Royals have double triggers, straight grips, splinter fore-ends. The engraving is beautiful and practical Holland scroll. Still standard embellishment today – and known as 'Royal Scroll' in house. Sold as a pair including a vintage double motor case. 12 Gauge
