Handcrafted by Artisians, brass inlay Walnut 1911 grips, full size, by Mammoth Handcrafted Pistol Grips.
A 250 year old technique of hewing out and hand carving naturally dried Walnut, then inlaying brass twine in to the chiseled pattern and finished with a protective coating of wax. All done by hand. It's my understanding this craft is from the Middle Eastern countries.
My apologies for the low quality cellphone photos which cause shadowing and do them little justice. In person they're exquistly beautiful & regal. IMO they're a collectors set.
