If it doesnt' sell, it goes back in the safe, no discounts at this price. For your consideration, Super Rare Mauser WTP II in excellent condition. This is the second variant, so I believe this was manufactured in 1939. I have had differing opinions on whether this is factory nickel. In my opinion, the stampings are too crisp for this to be done after production. If I could prove it, the price would be double what I am asking. There is only one very minor chip on the nickel on the bottom where the release is located (see picture). There are also two stampings next to the magazine release, yet nobody I know has any idea what they mean or refer to. Most likely they are inspection marks. Comes with correct nickel plated magazine in pristine condition with correct Mauser stamp on the bottom. Grips are pristine, with correct screws. Also included is an orignial owners manual that I picked up in Germany, although there is a small stamped hole in the upper left hand corner. As an added bonus, included is a period correct leather zipper pouch in great condition with no rips or tears. Please email me with any questions. I have test racked the pistol and never fired it. As with all vintage guns, you should have an experienced gunsmith go over the pistol before attempting to fire. I am an avid collector of period mouse guns, and some photos of my pistols have been featured in Unblinking Eye. For sale in the lower 48 states only from my FFL to your FFL. Make sure you can legally purchase this in your state. Payment by Certified Bank Check or USPS Money Orders. Pistol ships when the money clears, no exceptions. Shipping costs are $50.
