This hard to find unmolested 1967 .308 Carbine is in incredily not too too far from new condition (left side of stock has some light vertical scratches and a handling mark or two) is at a minimum 90 to 93% cond. (see sellers other items; we have a number of 100 and model 88 carbines ..some not yet listed..inquire)
These are among our favorite woods deer rifles; the fast follow up shots permitted with a semi auto allow a hunter to follow and track game without taking you're eye out of or away from the sight picture helping to prevent lost or wounded animals. A potent gun in a package not much bigger than a Ruger 44 carbine or mini 14 but chambered in .308 capable on game up to moose and elk in the hands of a careful shooter. Barrel approx 19" with an overall lenght of only about 39". No cracks, no repairs or touch up. Still has front site hood. Extra mags are readily avail.. Red W on winchester pistol grip cap.
These (Carbines) were lst made in 1967 and as such this is a first year production, discontiued in 1973
