Description:
25-7/8 inch barrels. Solid matted rib is marked "F.V. DREYSE SOMMERDA" in gold. Sights include a blade front sight and 2-leaf rear sight. Barrels retain a good amount of blue with some thinning at the breech. Fine delicate engraving at the breech, the tangs, end cap, underlever and buttplate cartridge trapdoor. Center fire action swivels to the right with underlever and also has very delicate scroll engraving on the top. Bright bores with strong rifling. Dual single set triggers with a horn trigger guard. Good mechanical condition. Nicely figured checkered stock with a left side cheek piece is in good condition with just a few handling dings. Comes complete with a leather sling. LOP 14-1/4 and weighs just shy of 7 pounds. A very attractive double rifle.
