J. Stevens No 35 Single shot pistol .22LR 8" barrel with Case and ammo
The J. Stevens No 35 Pistol is a rare antique firearm manufactured by J. Stevens & Co., a company known for producing high-quality firearms in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This particular pistol is chambered in .22 caliber and features a 8" round blued barrel, single-shot action, and open sights.
Condition: 8” barrel with a very nice shiny bore showing strong rifling. Drift adjustable Blade front sight and rear adjustable sight for elevation. The nickel frame of the pistol and the weighted butt cap have been refinished in what looks like a dura-coat Plum , with only slight edge wear and light scratches. It has a tiny bit of finish loss on the left side of the receiver and bottom of the trigger guard. The barrel has been re-blued with the barrel markings very clear and legible. The grips are in excellent condition and are made of period walnut and have a weighted butt plate for added stability. The trigger and hammer retain strong case-hardened color, adding to the overall aesthetic of the firearm. All appropriate parts are correctly numbered to the gun. Mechanically works excellent in single action with half and full-cock function and a strong hammer spring.
Also included is a very nice condition presentation case with a Vintage full box of .22 long Rimfire cartridges.
